Ben Chifley Dam

Ben Chifley Dam is located on the central tablelands just south of the famous racing car circuit, Mount Panorama, in Bathurst NSW. The dam is a home to a large number of species that opens great opportunity for the visiting anglers.

Plenty of Golden Perch, Catfish, Murray cod, Redfins and trout are present in the dam. All forms of boating are allowed at any time of year. The most common technique is to throw lures or drop bait around snags. You may also use fish metal lures like blades as this tends to get more strikes when it hit the bottom.

Most captures of natives have come during the change of season, winter into spring and in late autumn. Trolling is also popular in the dam.

Campbell's River

Campbell's River

Flyfishing and spinning is productive in the area. Campbell's river has good reputation when it comes to big fish and demanding water. The lower sections also offer great fishing, however the area is only accessed by small boats.
