Lake Burrendong

Lake Burrendong is mostly known for its large golden perch population but it is also a consistent producer of redfin. Fish species includes silver perch, tandan catfish and carp.

The Burrendong fisheries is rated at slightly better than the more famous Windamere Dam with golden perch up to 7kg.

Best fishing are during the warmer months from September to April for golden perch but redfin can be caught all year round.
