Lake Eildon

Lake Eildon has 500 kilometers of shoreline where brown and rainbow trout can be taken anywhere within its stretch. Murray cod, Macquarie perch and carp are also notable.

An angler would have to find a quiet spot to fish because boating scares the fish away. A hatchery for trout called The Snobs Creek has been frequented by visitors. Tourists find it exciting when the schools of trout swarm when being fed. Rolling is the common way of fishing. Numerous camping grounds and caravans are in this area which will give you the chance to appreciate the beauty of its natural surroundings.
