Lake Eucumbene - Part Two

Eucumbene river is classified as a 'blue ribbon stream' by the New South Wales Fisheries Department, meaning the area is strictly for lure and fly fishing only. Bait fishing is not allowed in the area at any time.

There is no doubt that Lake Eucumbene consistently offers significant fishing, with plenty of spots to explore and plenty of quality fish to catch. The lake is more productive in the months of March to June as the trout, mainly browns gather for their spawning run.
